A Creativist Oil Painting is a hybrid artwork. It combines traditional hand-drawing and hand-painting with modern digital artwork technique, and every piece is produced at Artisan level — reviewed by a senior artist before it leaves the studio.
The method involves photo tracing, photo manipulation and merging, brush stroke application, drawing, colouring, texturing, and framing. Each artwork is built by hand from a blank canvas by a trained artist.
The order is confirmed and an artist slot is reserved.

A photo and a video of the finished painting are sent to the Client before it leaves the studio.
There are three review points in every order — one at Draft Composition, one at Editing, and one at Painting. Each review carries one amendment.
At each review the Client must raise everything they want changed in that single round. Once a stage is approved, or the review window passes, the artwork moves to the next stage and that stage is closed.
Photographs can only be changed during the Draft Composition stage. After DC is approved, photographs cannot be changed.
Even during DC, photo changes are allowed in the first round only, together with the DC amendment. There is no second round.

Charges are per change, per person, and must be settled before the work is carried out.
Standard production is 15 to 20 working days. The exact duration depends on the number of headcounts in the painting, as each headcount is 5 to 7 hours of manual work.
This timeline assumes prompt reviews. Delays in approving a stage, and any amendment requests, extend the delivery date accordingly.
If the Client does not respond at a review point, the order is placed on hold and the artist slot is released to another order.
When the Client returns, work cannot resume immediately. The Artist will check artist availability and inform the Client how many additional days or weeks will be added to the original delivery timeline. Resumption depends entirely on artist availability.
All orders are non-refundable once placed.
Where an order cannot proceed, the Artist may at its sole discretion offer a credit towards a future order. This is a goodwill measure and not an entitlement.
Because every painting is made by hand, 100% accuracy of features is not attainable. This is true of every handmade portrait, and it is part of what makes the work original rather than mechanical.
Accuracy depends heavily on the quality of the photographs supplied. Results are more limited where the source photograph is:
The Artist will advise on photograph suitability before work begins. Canvas is an organic material and may show small natural marks or flecks in its surface; this is a characteristic of the material, not a defect.
The Artist produces and retains ownership and copyright of all artwork created.
The Artist may use the artwork for portfolio, marketing material, social media, competitions and exhibitions. If the Client prefers the artwork not to be published, they may tell the Artist and it will not be used.
A soft copy of the finished artwork is provided to the Client in JPEG format. Soft copies shared publicly by the Client should credit the Artist.
Orders are paid in full at the time of ordering.
Where the Client pays by instalment through a third-party provider, that provider retains the right to obtain full payment from the Client under its own terms. The Artist's agreement is with the Client for the full order value.
Plan Z is a separate staged payment arrangement offered at the Artist's discretion in specific cases. It is not a standard website option. Clients who wish to enquire about Plan Z should speak to a consultant before placing an order.
Where a Client locks a promotional price, the amount paid holds that price for the promotion period. If the Client does not proceed with the order, the locked amount is forfeited once the promotion period ends. Clients must obtain their invoice when locking a price.
Urgent orders are accepted subject to artist availability and attract an additional charge. To meet a compressed deadline, urgent orders are not eligible for amendments at any stage.

Clients in Singapore and India should place their order through the Creative Factory Painting branch in that country.
Self collection is available at our gallery at Setia Walk, Puchong, Selangor.
Placing an order implies agreement to these terms. The Artist reserves the right to amend these terms, and may decline or discontinue an order at its discretion.
The Artist is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including courier delays, public holidays, natural events, utility or supply failures, and government restrictions.
Personal information provided by the Client is collected and stored for the purpose of fulfilling the order, providing customer service, and sending newsletters, promotions and updates. Clients may ask to be removed from marketing communications at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. Orders placed through the Singapore or India branch are governed by the laws of that country.
